In searching for a title, I learned a new word through this painting. Epipelegic — the sunlit zone of the ocean where plant life thrives. Yes, I'm back to the sun and sea theme. Can't help it!

This is lovely Suzanne. When you paint the sea, there's a wonderful energy that comes through. Maybe it's in the colours?

This is a lovely word! New to me also. I can just see all the wonderful ocean life in this painting. Beautiful colours, Suzanne!

Oh, I think the paintings I do of the sea simply come from my soul. Might be my Irish ancestry!

Thanks to you both, Liz and Dianne.

Sun and sea--you can't go wrong! When I look at your paintings, I feel like I'm seeing a color for the first time: it's a beautiful shock. This pink is perfect, and the red curves inspired!

What a high compliment, Laura. Thank you!

Just drinking in the loveliness of this painting. And a new word to go along with it, wonderful. You're on a roll, these latest paintings are so exuberant!

Thank you, Mineke! I'm beginning to feel a little restricted by size, but that feeling is cyclical and I'm just going to power right through it.

I love the way the pink blooms into yellow - you may be feeling cold, but your colors are wonderfully warm!
