Bruce MacEvoy once said that my watercolors reminded him a little of Emil Nolde. I can see the resemblance in some of them, especially over the last few months. I thought of Bruce's comment after I made this one, hence, the title!

Enjoy your weekends and, for everyone with winning comments on my Nine Cats drawings, don't forget to email me your addresses so that I can send you a little something.

Thanks to Sandy, Trish, Mineke, Audrey, Rhonda, Mary, Peggy, Caren, Kimberly, Deborah, and Ajay for playing along!

Suzanne, this is truly a beautiful painting. I love how the colors support each other so well. As I look at it, I am feeling lighter. Beautiful Work, indeed!

Actually, it's near 60 today after being 12 degrees or something yesterday. I'm actually losing track! But it does feel like spring. Thanks, Dawn.

Suzanne, Your work is way way better than Emil Nolde's, in my opinion. Your composition and color use is superb!

All right, Sandy. I'll print this comment out and pin it under the Emil Nolde landscape on my bulletin board. ...or maybe that would intimidate me...
