Gathering

Gathering

When I first looked at this painting, the idea of spilling came to me. It was more the sound of the word than the actual meaning. The more I considered various titles, the more the image seemed to gain strength at its center. The energy is not draining at all here but coming together in radiance.

Suzanne, I "tagged" you, see details on my blog for what the heck I'm talking about. You don't have to participate, but you might be willing, or you could post the entry on one of your other blogs.

Yes, Dawn I really enjoy the soft focus and neutrals in this.

I love this, too. It has a feeling of strength to me, gathering is a great title. I was browsing here from my reader and seem to be missing a few posts.. what happened to "Crag"? That was lovely, and I also liked what you wrote about using the white of the paper.
